Holy Family

About two or three times a year our seminarian comes to visit St. Agnes’, is made a great fuss of by everyone, and then promptly disappears back to Wigratzbad (EN FR DE). We, in the meantime, keep him in our daily prayers! Last Autumn he was admitted to tonsure and we gaggled over photos.

Then last week he appeared, your blogger is tempted to say in a Blaze of Glory™, and photos were requested. Which is the raison d’être of this post.

In which our parish’s need for a consistent set of albs is demonstrated….

Epistle.

Gospel.

One of this lowly blogger’s favourite points during High Mass. I always imagine the subdeacon muttering to himself (in Latin, naturally), on his way back to the altar,

This is where we finished. Must not lose my spot. This is where we finished. Must not lose my spot. This is where we finished. Must not- OH! Hello Father. This is where we finished!

Maybe this lowly blogger has an over-active imagination.

SOON </lolcats_reference>

Please pray for our seminarian, and that many more from St. Agnes’ will follow in his footsteps.
